I will give you a Dowry. Its worth is not valued in precious stones or rare metals. This Dowry will be your wealth, your inheritance, my legacy, and your property.

I move between two types of production. I work on objects, installations and actions that function as prototypes and are a starting point to the wearable pieces of jewellery that follow. My work has been selected Loot- Mad museum New York 2018, for Schmuck, Munich in 2015, and participated in exhibitions both in Argentina and abroad.

Born in Buenos Aires, Bachelor of Arts in visual arts at Buenos Aires University. Trained at Jorge Castañon´s studio, took workshops with Iris Eichenberg, Lisa Walker, Hanna Hedmann, Gemma Draper, Ruudt Peters. Since 2013 have been teaching accessories design at Cát.Kweitel-Kohon, at University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. FADU-UBA.

This collection is called “The Dowry”, it´s central idea is that in the past a dowry was usually a piece of jewelry; today the best dowry a woman can get is education. I live in a developing country where access to education is not distributed fairly. I teach young girls in disadvantage areas how to read and write. Their daily commitment to achieve these skills requires great effort on their part. This experience made me realized that nowadays education is the most valuable dowry a girl can get. It is with the certainty and the commitment of their mothers that these girls will receive this dowry that will allow them to move a step forward out of their poverty.
