Artist Statement
Nick Frappier enjoys using a variety of media including steel, copper, fiberglass and other resins, and found objects. His work is a distillation of individual moments, actions and experiences into single gestures. It is an attempt to communicate those beautiful moments that cause people to pause in their daily lives.
Biography
Born in 1988 in northern Japan, Nick Frappier was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Utah in 2010. After graduation he moved to Helper, Utah to continue his education studying with Dave Dornan and Ben Steele. He still lives and works in the thriving artist community of Helper.
