Description
The inspiration for this piece came from the sandstone cliffs and ancients structures found in areas of Southeastern Utah such as Hovenweep. The tower and small overturned vessel are created from juniper abundant in those areas. The picture rock sandstone also came from Southeastern Utah. Hand crushed Kingman Turquoise is inlaid in the natural void of the tower and spilling from the overturned vessel. All of this is mounted on a piece of ebonized mahogany. It is 19 inches wide, 13.5 inches tall and 8 inches deep.
